On Friday 13th March, children from Year 2 went to the Community College to take part in a day of musical fun! They joined with children from other Alliance schools to work with Saul from Junk Orchestra, who is also one of the founding members of STOMP! to make music from the items we usually throw away! They also took part in other musical workshops including world singing and making their own instruments from junk.
This day has further inspired our playground project and has given the children some fantastic ideas about what they can create in the junk orchestra section of the playground! All of the children had a fantastic time and we were all "rubbish musicians!"
